Formulated a large-format campaign strategy focused on regional brand recognition and tourist engagement.

problem
The Mississippi Aquarium needed a high-visibility "Out-of-Home" (OOH) campaign that could break through the visual noise of a coastal highway to capture immediate tourist attention.
solution
I engineered a 3D-inspired, large-format visual strategy that utilized "forced perspective" and dynamic motion to transform a static billboard into an immersive brand experience.
Recognizing that a billboard has only seconds to make an impact at 70mph, I moved beyond traditional flat design to architect a "breaking the frame" concept. My vision was to materialize the magic of the Gulf Coast’s marine life by creating the illusion of depth; I designed a searies that appeared to soar out of the physical boundaries of the board, directly into the viewer's space.

To anchor this, I paired the high-action imagery with a bold, high-contrast typeface and the strategic tagline, "Follow Me to Aquatic Wonders." I utilized advanced lighting effects and gradient masking to ensure the design remained legible and vibrant under the harsh glare of coastal sunlight.
This project was a masterclass in scaling brand storytelling for environmental media—balancing technical print constraints with the goal of creating a visceral, "stop-in-your-tracks" moment for the regional tourism market.
